Nationally syndicated award-winning television show seeks savvy new hosts

New York, NY - December 25, 2006 - The nationally syndicated and award-winning television show Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy is launching a nationwide talent search for hosts for the program's upcoming season, which will air on PBS stations as well as the Black Family Channel.

The program, which is dedicated to being a leading source in information and entertainment for new mothers, welcomes women nationwide to become active participants in the show by vying for a spot as a host as well as by playing a hands-on role in the selection process.

We are extremely proud to be able to offer all women across America the chance to host the only TV series made especially for, and about moms.

By featuring real moms we are providing the peer-to-peer credibility that is so important to audiences today.

Until January 21 2007, potential hosts can upload a two-minute video audition clip of themselves to realsavvymoms.com

At the site potential hosts will find easy step-by-step instructions as well as contest rules and entry guidelines.

Visitors will also find a script to read during their clip, and several different topics to select from and discuss during the audition clip.

Participants are also invited to view clips of the show.

In keeping with the show's authenticity, the Real Savvy Moms online community will vote for who they feel will make the best new hosts for the series.

Voting will be open for four weeks, during which time, entrants are encouraged to get their friends and family involved and voting for their favorite Real Savvy candidate.

The top five most-voted-for-moms will be included in the top 10 finalists; the other five finalists will be chosen by Julie Still and Lucky 7 Casting.

All 10 finalists will then be judged by the program's casting director based on criteria including personality, articulation, on-camera ease, charm, and originality.

Contest winners will be chosen based on a combination of highest audience votes and the judge's score.

The new hosts will be announced on March 1, 2007, and presented with a six-month contract to co-host the award-winning television program.
