2006 has been some kind of year at Loplops.

So the downtown gallery-lounge will be celebrating this Friday (December 1) with a special 3rd birthday celebation.

Here's what they sent us:

The first part of the festivities will start right after work and run through til 7:30 with appetizers (13 catering), live entertainment (Rachelle Deresti Trio) and great door prizes/tickets for upcoming events.

Big Wheel and the Spokes will hit the stage around 9:30 to entertain the rest of the night.

Thursday November 30 - Beyond Borders presents Peter Katz. Peter won the 2005 CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award and was the grand prize winner of Toronto's Indie Week. He has been delighting listeners with his blend of folk, jazz and rock music. For more information on Peter check him out at PeterKatz.org.

Saturday December 2 - Beyond Borders presents Pat Robitaille and special guest Dale Willis. Pat Robitaille will be making his fourth appearance at Loplops and is truely one of Canada's rising stars. Dale Willis is already one of Australia's stars as he won the Australian finger-picking championship and defies physics when playing the guitar.
