Saultites are invited to a free family-friendly movie night next month.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie is gearing up for Hallowe’en with a showing of Goosebumps outside under the tent at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion on Friday, Oct. 13.

The city promises a “ghoulishly good time” complete with free popcorn, glow wands and other treats.

“Families will feel the eerie atmosphere as they settle in for a fun night of suspense, laughter, and Hallowe’en magic,” the city said in a news release.

“The Goosebumps movie is rated PG and is a thrilling adventure based on the beloved book series by R.L. Stine.”

Space is limited and people are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

Those under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Feel free to dress up in costumes but leave the costume masks and props at home.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the movie starting at 7 p.m.
