Just For Laughs Comedy Festival veteran Derek Edwards is set to bring his new 90-minute standup routine to Sault Ste. Marie next spring.

Originally from Timmins, Ontario, Edwards has toured his rural comedy brand from coast to coast and is the only Canadian comic to win the Vail National Comedy Invitational.

CBC television host Rick Mercer once stated that Edwards is “the funniest man in Canada. Everybody knows that.”

He has been featured at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival five times and was awarded the Canadian Comedy Award for Best male Stand-Up in 2004.

Edwards will bring his Baloney and Wine tour to Sault Ste. Marie’s Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre on Friday, April 8, 2016.

Advanced tickets are on sale now until the end of day Thursday, November 12.
