Womyn Film Festival March 12 and 13

Welcome to the fourth annual Womyn Tribe Film Festival.

Womyn 4 Social Justice invite you to celebrate International Womans' Day by attending our free film festival on Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13.

This year we are located right downtown, at the Oddfellows Hall across from the City Bus Terminal on Dennis Street.

We are showing a diverse program with local talent and internationally acclaimed films.

As always, we lead off the festival with a film by our favorite Deepa Meta as we show her film Earth on Friday night.

Some of Saturday's films include This is My Body, Flow, For the Next 7 Generations, For Angela and much more.

There will be discussions after each film to share opinions and views of the films.

The Filmfest runs Friday night beginning at 6 p.m. and continues all day Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be light refreshments served both days.

Come out and celebrate the women in your lives, and the woman yet to come!
