NEWS RELEASE
MUSICAL COMEDY GUILD
************************
The Musical Comedy Guild welcomes anyone who feels a little kooky, a little spooky, to come sing and dance with us at auditions for The Addams Family the Musical.

Director Timothy Murphy is looking for performers who can bring the quirky Addams family to life as they face a new challenge. Their dark and beloved daughter, Wednesday, is now 18 and has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke – a sweet and kind young gentleman from… Ohio. The two families will meet on our stage!

Our show sees secrets revealed, relationships tested and the Addams family facing the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid for generations: change. This dark comedy needs to find Granny, Gomez, Morticia, Fester, Wednesday and Pugsley Addams, Lurch, Lucas and Alice Beineke, and a number of ensemble roles.

Auditions for leads will be Wednesday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m., ensemble at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, and 2 p.m. on Saturday the 11th. Call backs will be Saturday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. All welcome. If you require support of any kind to audition, please just email us at the address below. Auditions will be held at the former St. Ignatius church building, 327 Cathcart St.

Lead roles should come prepared with the song chosen for each role listed here.

Show dates are April 29 and 30, May 1 and 2, 2020. Tickets are on sale now at the Sault Community Theatre Centre Box Office in the Station Mall and make a great gift!

Presented in agreement with Theatrical Rights Worldwide. Produced by Kim Smith-Bahry.
