Formed in 2003, the Surrey, BC-based five piece no holds barred, straight up old school punk band cite Social Distortion, NOFX, Minor Threat and the Descendents as influences.

In their relatively short career, Mike Jurek (guitar), Matt Arseneaux (vocals), Gavin Boyd (drums), Nathan Boyd (guitar) and Richard Lowe (bass) have shared flesh dissolving duties with the likes of Knucklehead, Rebel Spell and the Ripcordz.

In 2006, the opportunity of a life time faced the boys as they were invited to open for Aquabats and Rancid, and "they plan on milking it for every bit of bragging rights that it's worth."

With a new van and Scene Police, a fierce 15-track CD to tour with, Faty Maty and the Yellowbelts are ready to wreak havoc on a stage near you.

Foggy Notions on Saturday, May 19 to be exact.

For more information regarding this first-time appearance, please contact Foggy Notions at (705) 942-0050.

Not so much into having your face melt?

Just take a few steps back from the stage and you may only get singed.
