Family friendly Pride event happens this weekend

THE KLUB COMMUNITY WELLNESS CENTRE

The Klub Community Wellness Centre is pleased to invite all LGBTQ2S+ folks and allies to Pride, a fun, socially-distanced outdoor event.

Pride will be held in the parking lot of the Marconi Cultural Event Centre from 12-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8. More than 20 vendors will be on site, spaced throughout the parking lot, and food will be provided by the Marconi’s Street Food cart. Other entertainment includes:

• DJ Dark Mark (12 p.m.)
• Haus of Gore drag show (1 p.m.)
• Children’s story time (2:15 p.m.)
• Costume contest and lip sync battle (2:25 p.m.)
• Koach Katrina’s kid’s obstacle course (all day)

Stop in for a while or stay all day to take in all of the entertainment!

All COVID-regulations will be in place, including social distancing, and hand sanitizer stations will be available. Masks will not be required when distancing is possible, but The Klub encourages everyone to bring a mask to wear when required.
