Fall Book Clubs at the Library starting soon!

Registration for the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library’s Fall Book Clubs at the Centennial Library will begin on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. 

Registration for the Fall Book Club at Churchill Library will begin Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 1 p.m.

If you like to read and have lively discussions with others about books or try a new author, then please consider joining one of the book clubs being offered for adults at the Centennial Library. 

Meetings are held once a month between September and December.

We will be offering an Evening Book Club on the third Tuesday of each month, and a Mystery and Suspense Book Club on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month.

Evening Book Club, Centennial Library: 7 - 8:30 p.m.

September 17 – The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
October 15 – The Bishop’s Man by Linden MacIntyre
November 19 – My Antonia by Willa Cather
December 17 – The Cat’s Table by Michael Ondaatje

Mystery and Suspense Book Club, Centennial Library: 2 - 3:30 p.m.

September 18 – The Water Man’s Daughter by Emma Ruby-Sachs
October 16 – The Innocent by David Baldacci
November 20 – Wife of the Gods by Kwei J. Quartey
December 18 – Arctic Chill by Arnalder Indridason

Churchill Book Club A: 10 - 11:30 a.m.

October 16 - Yellow Birds by Kevin Powers
November 20 - Interestings by Meg Wolitzer
December 18 - Girls of Atomic City by Denise Kiernan

Churchill Book Club B: 10 - 11:30 a.m.

December 18 - Above All Things by Tanis Rideout
