Join Superior Heights OnStage for a fun evening of food and song as they gear up for their main stage production of Mamma Mia! with a special fundraiser. 

Inspired by the setting of the classic film based on the Broadway musical Mamma Mia!, this one-time fundraising event will feature authentic Greek food.

Prepared by culinary arts students from Superior Heights’ bistro, this is a menu note to be missed: roasted chicken souvlaki with tzatziki, Mediterranean roasted potatoes, pickled cucumber salad, roasted red bell pepper salad, black olive tapenade, hummus and fresh bread and pita chips, dessert with coffee and punch. 

Jason Zachary, lead teacher of the culinary arts program, will be guiding his students through this new and exciting menu they are creating for this event and this event only! These experienced and talented students won’t disappoint as they take their kitchen expertise to the next level to serve you this special meal. 

The highlight of the evening won’t just be food, however. The cast of Mamma Mia! will lead the audience in a sing-a-long of all of ABBA’s favourite tunes — classics like Dancing Queen and Super Trouper and favourites like Waterloo and Fernando, and of course — Mamma Mia! Grab your dancing shoes, don’t forget a pink boa or two and warm up those vocals cords as you get the chance to belt out everyone’s favourite 70s disco-inspired hits. 

Costumes are encouraged — so dig through the back of your closets for the best of your 70s vintage awesomeness! Prizes will be awarded for most creative, best dressed and most authentic costumes!

The funds raised this evening will go towards sustaining and growing the musical theatre and culinary arts programming at Superior Heights — two unique and incredible departments that offer students a chance to be creative, develop practical real-world skills and explore their potential to the fullest!

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, this is an event you won’t see again! Tickets are $25 and must be ordered in advance. Book early to secure a grouping for you and your family and friends.
