On Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m., Calamity Royale Productions and Crush Studio are delighted to announce an EP release and soup session for local musician Brian MacLean, whose pseudonym as a recording artist is "from the MOON RACCOON."

An Elmvale native, MacLean is an eclectic, enigmatic songwriter.

From the MOON RACCOON’s EP Staring Out My Window will be offered as part of a show-exclusive CD alongside a digital release.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Elmvale Food Bank. Homemade soup will be served at a celebratory after-party. Bring a hearty mug!

The concert will happen on Saturday, June 15 at The Hub. Showtime is 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The Hub is operated by longtime ‘Mariposa’ co-ordinator and artistic director of ‘Live from the Rock Folk and Blues Festival’ Jennifer Ives at her as-yet-secret location in the heart of Elmvale.

The evening is designed to offer music lovers an immersive experience with some of Springwater’s most talented musicians.

Attend and be treated to an unforgettable evening of stirring music and evocative lyrics.

The original songs of From the MOON RACCOON create an atmosphere in which every note and each word deeply resonates. This is a rare opportunity for music enthusiasts to experience the magic of live local music in its purest, most intimate form.

Seating is limited in The Hub’s cozy space. For pre-sale tickets ($20) and further information, contact [email protected].

Discounted admission ($15) for attendees who dress up as either a moon or a raccoon, with rebates at the door for pre-sale attendees who arrive in-costume.
