NEWS RELEASE

ELITE DANCE FORCE

*************************
Recently, the Quinte Ballet School of Canada and the Interlochen Center of the Arts hosted open Master Classes and Auditions to dancers at Elite Dance Force (EDF).

Classes and auditions were instructed by nationally recognized faculty members.

All EDF students who auditioned for Quinte were asked to attend an open summer program, where they would have the opportunity to train with Quinte Faculty members.

Thirteen lucky students were asked to attend the prestigious Professional Training Program held for three weeks in the Summer of 2016.

This prestigious program serves as a second phase audition into the full time, year-round academic program at Quinte.

Special congratulations to these following students who were accepted into the 2016 Professional Training Program: Maliyah Walls, Sierra Heintzman, Megan Morgenstern, Miranda Taylor, Olivia Chartrand, Emma Dingle, Piper Quinn, Katelyn Brienesse, Andrew Brienesse, Sophie Bernardo, Hugh Stanghetta, Cassandra Burzese, and Gabby Vincentini.

Ben Jaremko, and Liam Morassut have already been pre-accepted and invited to attend this summer's training program, as they attended last year and were given an open invitation for this coming summer.

One of the students reached a new auditioning milestone!

Following the Quinte audition, Maliyah Walls received a letter directly from the school's Artistic Director, Catherine Taylor.

Ms. Taylor informed her that the teachers were so impressed with her audition that they wanted her to bypass the summer program and begin attending the Quinte Ballet School as a second semester student this January 2016.

Staff from the world renowned Interlochen Center of the Arts also visited the local dance studio and were very impressed with the talent in Sault Ste. Marie.

Ten lucky students were asked to attend the school where they have the option to train with dancers and other artists from around the world.

Congratulations to: Lola Valente, Payton Magli, Angelina Brassard, Tori Gamelin, Caitlyn Nicholson, Courtney Gagnon, Nyah Pedinelli, Andrew Brienesse, Maliyah Walls and Emma Dingle.
