A host of A-list celebrities have received subpoenas dated August 20, 2007 to appear for depositions in a Michigan federal court.

Those subpoenaed include Snoop Dogg, Colin Powell, Spike Lee, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Mick Jagger, P Diddy, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Paris Hilton, and Eminem to name a few.

All this commotion stems from a lawsuit filed in January of this year against two former Canadian federal ministers and 95 border guards by Murdercap Records CEO Jerome Almon.

Almon alleges that racial profiling by Canadian border officials results in unwarranted scrutiny and harassment towards black rap artists trying to gain entry into Canada.
