Through an annual weekend celebration each September, hundreds of artists and cultural organizations across the country come together and invite Canadians to participate in free interactive activities to raise awareness of arts and culture of their communities.

Culture Days will take place in Sault Ste. Marie on Sept. 29 and 30 and will feature free, hands-on, interactive activities for the whole family.

A schedule of events includes:

10 a.m. – Flag raising ceremony at the Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site

10 a.m. – 3 p.m. - The Centennial Library, The Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site and The Art Gallery of Algoma will have multicultural arts, crafts and activities including:

As part of Culture Days, The Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site will also be hosting Fall Rendezvous featuring historical encampments, British soldiers, voyageurs and couriers de bois, hands-on activities and demonstrations, as well as Harvest Festival activities and foods, from Sept. 27 to 30.
