ST. JOSEPH ISLAND - Today Go North Music Festival announces the return of their annual festival and the official line-up. Set for Saturday, July 13, 2019, this year's festival, held on beautiful St. Joseph Island, will feature an incredible group of artists.

Performers will include JUNO award-winning blues/country singer Crystal Shawanda, alt-rock outfit Birds of Bellwoods, rock band Sun K, folk-rock powerhouse Skye Wallace, singer-songwriter Sarah Smith, indie rock band Another Crush, indie pop-rock group Jesse Merineau, and celtic punk rock group Dustin Jones and The Rising Tide. New this year will be Friday night camping.

"We will be expanding our popular campground experience to have the option of staying on the Friday night as well, to give people the chance to explore St. Joseph Island a bit more as well,"shares festival organizer Jody Wildman. "We welcome people bring their own musical instruments and getting together around the campfire to entertain each other on the Friday night and after the headliner finishes on Saturday night."

Early bird online tickets are available now via Eventbrite. $30 for early bird (March 21 – April 5), $40 for advance, and $50 at the gate (HST included). Admission for kids 12 and under is free, and youth 13 to 18 years old is $15.

Tickets will be available online today and at various local vendors - The Township of St. Joseph Municipal Office, Moose Sweats (Richards Landing), 17 East Trading Post (Desbarats), Rad Zone (SSM), and The Vibe Eatery (SSM) - on Friday, March 22.

The full-day music festival will offer an afternoon and evening of new music, local artisans, local craft beer (including Northern Superior Brewing and Outspoken Brewing), delicious food (confirmed so far, we have Vibe Eatery (Vegan and Gluten Free options), The Black Bear Café and Eatery, The St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers), and overnight camping in a relaxed outdoor venue unlike anything else in the area.

Any vendors, producers, supporters, and sponsors should contact the Township of St. Joseph if they would like to get involved.
