As are his diehard fans.

And here's why.

Prison officials announced late Monday night that the much-anticipated concert commemorating the 40th anniversary of Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison has been cancelled.

Johnny's longtime drummer, WS "Fluke" Holland was set to lead the January 13 performance at Folsom State Prison, 40 years to day after the original 1968 appearance.

The concert was also slotted to stream worldwide on www.iClips.net for fans across the globe to enjoy.

Filming rights, media access and security issues have been cited as the cause of the cancellation.
