Sault Ste. Marie City Council tonight granted permission to local filmmaker Chris Pozzebon to close St. George's Avenue for four hours next month to shoot a scene for his new film Good Guys.

At the request of Ward 1 Councillor Steve Butland, councillors agreed to close the street on January 25.

Pozzebon says the scene will be shot between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

He's also seeking permission to shoot at other Sault locations including St. Basil Secondary School and the boardwalk.
