Mistatim will be in Sault Ste. Marie April 21.

Mistatim is a story of wild horses and true friendship.

Audiences are invited to join Calvin and Speck on a journey of reconciliation under the prairie sky where all that separates them on their respective ranch and reservation is a simple wooden fence. They are in many ways miles apart until a wild horse named Mistatim turns their worlds upside down, a news release says.

Red Sky Performance, a leading company of contemporary Indigenous productions, presents Mistatim April 21 at 2 p.m. as part of the Over the Rainbow Children’s Entertainment program at Sault Community Theatre Centre.

Mistatim was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for outstanding production and winner of best script, best direction, and best production by Youth Drama Awards in China, according to www.redskyperformance.com.

Tickets can be purchased at www.saultctc.ca or by visiting the box office in the Station Mall.
