Highly anticipated gamer to debut on television's biggest night of the year

Regular timeslot to follow Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT (60 minutes) beginning February 8

TORONTO, January 11 - CanWest MediaWorks is pleased to announce broadcast details surrounding its powerhouse production, Deal or No Deal Canada.

The hotly anticipated Canadian run of the hit series - led by host Howie Mandel - premieres Sunday, February 4 immediately following Global's telecast of Super Bowl XLI (approximate airtime 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT).

Following the debut episode on North America's biggest broadcast night, Deal or No Deal Canada will continue its special run Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning February 8.

Produced expressly for Global Television by Insight Production Company Ltd. and Endemol USA, the five hour-long episodes will be broadcast exclusively in Canada.

The special series will bring all the action of the Deal or No Deal experience direct to its most loyal fans, right here at home.
