SAULT STE. MARIE
PUBLIC LIBRARY

*****************************
The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is pleased to host Kayt Burgess, teacher, musician, classical operatic soprano, and the winner of the 2011 Three-Day Novel Contest, a notorious Canadian-born tradition that forces writers to produce a masterwork of fiction in 72 short hours.

Come meet Kayt and hear her read from her contest-winning novel, Heidegger Stairwell, a unique, gender- and genre-bending coming-of-age saga that offers a rare peek into the unseen world of small-town Ontario’s thriving independent music scene.

This free event will take place at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, 50 East Street in the Program Room, on Friday, October 5 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
