The 2nd Annual Buskerfest will be kicking off this Friday, August 4th beginning at 3:30 pm.

Last year's event was such a success that the organizers had to step it up another notch to prove that this event will be sticking around for many years to come.

Performing this year will be:

Dan the One Man Band - What more can we say about Dan? Other than his name is pretty self-explanatory...oh yeah, and that he rocks...and that he is one of the returning artists from last year's event. I guess we had a few things to say about him.

Brian Wilson (AKA The Cow Guy) - All-purpose juggler,
balancer, comedian, fire guy and fine fellow. For those who didn't catch his act last year, it is not to be missed.

Junkyard Symphony - As we all know, recycling is the way of the future. The Junkyard Symphony has reall taken it to heart and will be performing a musical act on all recycled materials.

Mr. Bunk (pictured above) - Puppeteer, stunt comedian, magician, and slack-rope walker. Yes, you've heard of a tight rope walker. Well, Mr. Bunk is a slack rope walker. Not only is this cat very funny, he is great at improv. A must see!

Spring Action - Take trampoline champion Heather McManus (from the 2004 Olympics) and surround her by a troupe of like-minded individuals and you have yourself a bouncy good time.

Ash and Rubin - This duo perform native story telling and dance.

And to show that local buskers are getting in on the action...Ryan McFarling - Local illussionist and all around
nice guy.

This year's Buskerfest will be taking place in Queenstown Square 1.

Times for the event are:
Friday Aug. 5th - 3:30- 10:00 pm
Saturday Aug 6th - 12:00-10:00 pm
Sunday Aug. 7th - 12:00-5:00 pm

Food and refreshments will be available on site, as well from local Square 1 merchants.
