The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library, located at 50 East St., invites everyone to join the festivities during its Christmas open house on Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.

"This year, a variety of musical talents will ensure that your holiday spirit is off to a great start!" says a news release issued by the library. "Sit back with a cup of hot apple cider as you listen to a variety of beautiful Christmas selections performed by talented local musicians Matthew Fearnley-Brown, Lawrence Misener, Kately Shantz and members from the Sault Symphony Orchestra."

Attendees will also have the opportunity to create a farmhouse ornament to hang on their Christmas tree.

Registration is not required for the drop-in event. For more information, please call 705-759-5236.
