Attention all poetry enthusiasts:

There will be a poetry event at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, Friday, May 18 from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.

Manolis Aligizakis, poet, author, translator, and publisher, will present his own poetry and also the poetry of two famous Greek poets, Constantine Cavafy and Yannis Ritsos, in his own translation, being done for the first time in this country!

Manolis Aligizakis has been awarded 2nd prize for poetry and 3rd prize in short stories at the Interartia Literary Competition sponsored by the International Art Academy and the Foundoulis Observatory in Athens, Greece!

Don’t miss this exciting, free, poetry event being held in the Program Room at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library - 50 East Street.
