All is Fair at Laird Fair

Maybe it isn't exactly arts, but the Annual Laird Fair being held this weekend, August 13th-15th, and will certainly have its share of entertainment for all ages.

Maybe it isn't exactly arts, but the Annual Laird Fair being held this weekend, August 13th-15th, and will certainly have its share of entertainment for all ages.

The Fair will have a moon jump and ball jumps for kids, a pet contest for kids, live bands, a baseball competition, horse competitions and much more. For those of legal drinking age, there is even a beverage garden.

For those who aprreciate the art of running large powerful engines, there will be an event called the Canadian Hell Drivers on Friday night ($10 ticket)and motocross and 4-wheeler races on Sunday.

Organizers of the event have even invited dogs to the event, as long as the owner has a doggy bag. Unless, that is, if you plan to visit the variety of indoor exhibits at the school on the Laird Fairgrounds property (where no doggies are allowed).
