If you like fantastic choreography and brilliant costumes, show girls in feathers, tap dancing, and swashbuckling pirates, then "The Golden Age of Variety" might be just what you have been craving.

The Golden Age of Variety, a troupe of 50 seniors, will be performing "Las Vegas: A Trip Down the Strip" at the Kiwanis Community Theatre on Friday, June 24th at 7:00 pm.

This performance will come on the heels of five sold out shows in Hamilton, Ontario. The show includes 30 different acts that pay tribute to showrooms on the Las Vegas strip, including the Viva Las Vegas Show Girls, the City Lights tap group, Treasure Island pirates, the award-winning Gael Force Dancers, the Men in Motion and the graceful Hula Wahines.

All the performers are between the ages of 55 and 83. "Everyone in the troupe is thrilled to be coming to Sault Ste. Marie for this special performance," says Virginia Binko, the troupe's Artistic Director. "People of all ages can expect a very energetic and inspirational evening of entertainment complete with fantastic choreography and brilliant costumes."

Tickets are available at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre box office located in the Station Mall or by phone at (705) 945-7299. Doors for the show open at 6:00 pm.
