A message for musicians only: Special gathering to be held at Loplops

On Tuesday, February 8th at 8:00 pm, local musician Mark Kuntsi will be hosting the first Tuesday Night "Musician's Gathering" at Loplops Lounge.

Kuntsi hopes that the gathering will become a regular event in the years to come. "The idea is not really to have an 'open mike night' or a traditional 'jam' night, but instead to have a time and place for local musicians to gather, play a few songs for each other and maybe together, and just generally have a good ol' time making music with people we might not normally get a chance to play with," says Kuntsi.

Kuntsi will kick off the night by performing a 45-minute set of his music to get the ball rolling. After that, the stage is open to other musicians who want to play. Full bands are even welcome to do a mini set of music.
