50-year music veteran to perform at Bayliss

SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. - Folk singer/songwriter Alan Seymour will perform in concert on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Bayliss Public Library. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and an open mic will follow.

Alan Seymour has over 50 years of experience performing, the last 30 of which have been in the Sault area. Alan has appeared at such places as arts fairs, festivals, sidewalk sales, churches, Freighter View, Tendercare, Erickson Center for the Arts in Curtis, as well as at Superior District Library open mics at Bayliss Library and Pickford Community Library, and at home concerts.

Aside from his original songs, he performs a range of 1960s folk music, including works by Paul Simon and Bob Dylan. Several of his friends will join him in performance at the library that evening.

At the open mic, the public is welcome to read and perform their own work or that of others. Join us for an evening of music and inspiration.
