2 years. 2 long agonizing years have gone by without you by our side and still at loss for words on your passing and so much has changed.
I watch for signs of your unforeseen presence in which myself or your “ little darlings” have witnessed your spirit animal of an eagle soaring high in the sky or once very low to the ground this past summer. For this I am grateful. Grateful because it brings great comfort knowing your still around even though I can’t hug you, hold your hand, or have those long phone chats about everything and anything, and sometimes even the same stories I’ve heard many times.
You would be shocked to see how big your great grand kids are getting, soon a 13 year old, a 10 year old and my baby who is now 8. We speak of you every day sharing stories about you to keep your spirit alive, we hope your around when we do because we miss you dearly.
I hope your proud of all the accomplishments I’ve made since your passing.
We will meet again one day and until then, we love you deeply and miss you more than you’ll ever know.
