It's been 15 years since that phone call put me on my knees. So many things that should have happened since then will never happen because you were taken from us.
Like a lifeline, I cling to my memory of the last day I saw you and that strong, long hug you gave me before you left. It's almost like you knew it might be the last time. I have so little of you in this world and the empty space is unbearably cavernous.
I will always miss you and love you.
