In loving memory of a wonderful wife and mother who passed away 4 years ago today, February 28, 2020.
We sat beside her bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore,
We did our duty to the end,
Till we could do no more.
In tears we watched her sinking,
We watched her fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking.
We knew she could not stay.
She left behind some aching hearts,
That loved her most sincere,
We never shall and never will,
Forget someone so dear.
For many years the family chain,
Was closely linked together,
But sadly that chain is broken now,
With the main link gone forever.
Remembered and missed every day,
