Mommy,
We look at the date and know that twenty seven years have passed since we lost you and ask how this could be possible.
In some ways it feels like an eternity, and in other ways it feels like yesterday.
You are now a grandmother and a great grandmother!
We speak often how broke Daddy would be because you would be spoiling the kids all rotten!
We could just see you flying from the Soo to Dallas to Ottawa to Toronto to St. Catherines to make sure you get us all in.
You were always up for anything!
The hockey arenas would hear you screaming from the rafters cheering on the boys and the dance auditoriums would see you bullying your way to front row to get a better view of the girls dancing!
That laugh! Oh what we would do to hear that laugh.
Or to taste your amazing cooking again.
Or go for a ride to DQ with 80s rock cranked in the car.
We could go on for days what we miss about you.
We would not trade the short years we had with you for a lifetime with a different mom.
To know you was to love you.
Hold Daddy's hand tight and continue to watch over us and encompass us in your love and light.
We love you beyond measure and miss you to infinity,
Frank, Nadia, Rick, Ivana and families
