It' snowing today, a big, beautiful glow - the kind I thrilled to as a child and still do. Skating and sliding, hockey and broom-ball - all the winter fun with you. Five am mornings, just you and me, to clear the rink, riding the snow scoop, propped on the boards, anxious to go. So many wonderful memories with a father who loved life, grabbed each day by the horns and made the most of every moment - of which there were never enough. No wonder you snored so loud. The most jovial man I ever knew. Your oldest girl, so much like you, Mary Ann.
