In loving memory of our partner, our mother, our grandmother, and our friend. It is hard to believe that it has been five years since we last shared this world together. Five long years since we got to see each other smile and laugh. We cannot put into words the empty space that you have left, but we all know that you are shining down upon us.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
we watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
