The Lung Health Foundation’s 22nd Annual Festival of Trees is still happening, but due to COVID-19 this year’s event will look a little different.

Participants can still bid and win trees and other prizes, but everything will be online, in order to help keep the community safe and healthy.

The Festival of Trees will start on Thursday, Nov. 12 and run until Friday, Nov. 20.

“We’ll have four different components for the event: a 50/50, a prize raffle, the Savoy’s Diamond Tree event, and an auction,” said event organizer Grace Briglio.

The Savoy’s Diamond Tree Event will begin Thursday, Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Station Mall.

Tickets will be $20 each for the chance to win one of the following three pieces of diamond jewelry valued at $1,500.

  1. Ladies 14 kt. white gold solitaire ring set with one .30 ct. diamond.
  2. Ladies 10 kt. yellow and white gold diamond heart pendant, DTW. .50 ct.
  3. Ladies 14 kt. yellow gold cluster ring, DTW. 1.00 ct.

“We’ll be in person at the mall selling tickets. We only have 200 tickets printed, and we’re going to be there all weekend selling tickets. With every purchase Savoy’s will be doing a giveaway on Thursday as well,” Briglio said.

“I’m looking forward to the event. It’s a bit different than what we’re normally used to. It’s a smaller version of it but I’ve had a lot of people give very generous donations this year. I’m very pleased to be able to pull something off in a short amount of time,” she said.

All of the draws will be held on Nov. 20, with the 50/50 being on until Dec. 14.

The auction site will be live on Nov. 12 and can be found here.
