Kimberly Fairley may have been born and raised in Toronto but with family roots running strong in the North, it was pretty inevitable that she would eventually make Sault Ste. Marie her home.
Before moving up, she attending Sheridan College in Brampton, giving her a fantastic background in business. In 2000, after attending college, Kim was hired by her first real estate office in Streetsville as an administrator. After almost 2 years later, moved to a much larger office in Mississauga and eventually landed in Sault Ste. Marie in 2005. In 2011, with 2 very young children and the support of her family, she became a Sales Representative. In 2016, Kim took her education to the next level and obtained her Broker licence.
Kim is an active volunteer. She sat as a Board of Director of the Sault Ste. Marie Real Estate Board in 2015, was appointed as President-Elect in 2016 and sat as President in 2017. Not only does she continue to sit on a number of committees for her local Board, but also volunteers on committees with the Ontario Real Estate Association and the Canadian Real Estate Association.
She also supports the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, a charity that supports local women's shelters. In the summer of 2017, Kim did her first Charity Trek in Iceland. Along with 90 other Royal LePage Realtors® across Canada, Kim and her colleagues hiked 115 kms of unpredictable terrain, climbed craters and volcanoes to raise a combined total of over $650,000. Kim herself raised over $5,200 for Women In Crisis Algoma in Sault Ste. Marie and the Mississaugi Women's Shelter in Blind River.
Her dedication and advocacy on behalf of the consumer and her fellow Realtors® is something she will continue to do for the rest of her real estate career.
