Small businesses and charities who have fallen behind on their energy bills throughout the pandemic can soon start applying for funding.

The provincial government introduced the COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for small businesses (CEAP-SB).

This funding is a one time, on-bill credit, and eligible customers can start applying on Aug. 31, 2020.

If you're not eligible for CEAP-SB, your place of residence may still be eligible for residential CEAP or lower-income energy support programs.

To apply or to learn more about eligibility, please visit https://ssmpuc.com/ceap-sb/.

CEAP-SB funding is limited; PUC Services will process applications in the order in which they are received. Submitting an application for CEAP-SB to PUC Services does not guarantee funding.

For more information, or to find out if you are eligible for CEAP-SB, please visit the PUC website or call the Customer Experience Team at 705-759-6522.
