Saultites get creative and thoughtful while practicing physical distancing (19 photos)

One Saultite dressed up as the Easter Bunny. Others made intricate art in their driveways

Due to concern for COVID-19, we in the Sault have officially been social and physical distancing for about a month.

Between homeschooling our kids, washing our hands, and keeping a distance of at least two arms lengths from others to contain the spread of COVID-19, Saultites have also been finding meaningful and creative ways to connect with others.

Especially over the Easter weekend.

SooToday received photos and stories of families and neighbours celebrating birthdays in sweet, unconventional ways, the Easter Bunny and a T-rex sharing messages to make you laugh and smile, children with inspiring messages, and special moments families shared on Easter, despite not being able to gather together as we normally would.

Stay safe, stay busy, and keep the distance, Sault Ste. Marie.
