NEWS RELEASE
SAULT STE. MARIE MUSEUM
*************************
In following suggestions from local and federal health officials, the Sault Ste. Marie Museum will be closed to the public until further notice.

Staff will continue to operate the Museum and answer any questions or concerns regarding the closure to the best of abilities.

All public programming will be cancelled untitled further notice.

Museum staff and partners are looking at creative alternatives to continue to engage with our community during these tough times. We are currently looking at offering our Community Art Hive as an online option for people to engage with community art-making as a reprieve during this uncertainty.

We will continue to update our social media and keep the public notified of any updates in operations. The staff thank you for your understanding during this period.

We, however, aim to work on some exciting projects during this closure and we look forward to the time everyone can once again come and discover YOUR museum. In the meantime, we encourage you all to stay safe and healthy and check in on those who may need some extra assistance during these times.
