Algoma Public Health is reporting one new COVID-19 case in the region.
The new case, which is from the Sault Ste. Marie area, brings the total number of cases in the Algoma region to 150 since the start of the pandemic.
Case number 150 is related to international travel.
The person was tested on Wednesday and is currently self-isolating.
There are currently 20 active COVID cases in Algoma.
Regions within Algoma that have reported cases in the past 14 days include:
- Central and east Algoma
- Sault Ste. Marie and area
- Elliot Lake and area
