NEWS RELEASE
SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE
*******************************
As we are in uncertain times during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking steps to ensure the health and safety of our members and the community.

From this point forward we will be restricting access to the Police Services Building. If you need to report a crime, we encourage you to do so over the phone and allow our officers to assess your concerns. As always if it is an emergency call 911.

We are currently prioritizing scheduled in person appointments for fingerprinting and record checks. All other appointments moving forward will be cancelled for the foreseeable future. For anyone requiring a record check, please utilize our online record check service available on www.saultpolice.ca. Results will be mailed directly to your home.

At this time the Neighbourhood Resource Centre on Gore Street will be closed for the foreseeable future. If you are in need of service from any of the partner agencies, please contact them directly.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.
