Smudge is one of several cats that arrived in the after hours drop off from unknown sources. They may have come from a colony type situation where they had minimal human contact as they are all very timid, nervous cats.

He has made tremendous progress, allowing staff to handle and pet him, which he seems to thoroughly enjoy.

He is a young adult, recently neutered, somewhat people shy but is getting better all the time. Smudge likes most other cats, but he would do best in a home with older kids or adults only as he can still be a little skittish. 

He will need a quiet home and an owner who is willing to spend the time to help bring him out of his shell. If you think that you've got the right situation to meet Smudge's needs, stop on by and we can arrange introductions.
