They would prefer a calm home with older children

SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Callie and Skye

(TAAG)

Sisters Callie and Skye will be two years old on April 30.  They must stay together, as they are a closely bonded pair.

Callie loves to have all the attention, snuggle, is super playful, and under your feet at all times.

Skye loves attention, cuddles, is playful, but dislikes her bum being touched. When she’s had enough Skye will walk away or give you a little love nip to tell you she’s done and wants to just relax.

The girls are very vocal when they need something (change litter, need food or want treats). They like a treat of soft food, especially the shredded food.

They are okay with dogs as long as the dog is calm and not in their face. They are leery around young kids. They haven’t been around other cats.

When there is too much going on with young kids and dogs, they tend to want to hide in another area of the house just to get away from it all.

They would prefer a home where they can snuggle with you at night and play with you during the day without dogs or young kids.

Callie and Skye come with all of their belongings, including litter box, food, water fountain, and cat trees. They are on a specific food – Simply Nourish - their favourite is the salmon.

These beautiful girls are not fixed yet, but an appointment will be made for them. The fee to adopt both together is $300 which will INCLUDE THEIR SPAY.

If you are interested in adoption, you can fill out a pre-adoption form online at animalassistancegroup.org or contact TAAG at 705-575-7030.
