Adopt Me: Bubbles is still waiting for her purrfect home (adopted)

She would need a home with no small children, or other cats

SooToday, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society and The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG), brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Bubbles

(TAAG)

Bubbles is still searching for the right family as she needs to be in a home where she is the only cat. She does not do well with other cats or small children.

Bubbles was originally found abandoned in an apartment. She was cared for by the landlord until TAAG could take her for a vet checkup, get her bloodwork completed, and get some tooth extractions. She is a spayed senior female thought to be between 8-10 years of age.

TAAG is currently conducting virtual adoptions as much as possible. You can fill out a Preadoption Form and we are also able to Skype with adoption information. This method is restrictive as we are limited with home-checking because of the COVID 19 health crisis, therefore it will be a slower process.

TAAG is currently unable to take in the usual number of rescued cats we can help. We lack a physical facility and our volunteer base has become limited. We are unable to assist in having cats spayed or neutered as access to Vets is quite limited.

One very unfortunate result of the current human viral pandemic will be the inevitable impact on the innocent lives of cats and dogs, the dumping of pets, and the explosion of unwanted kittens and homeless cats in the near future.

TAAG is looking for help in anticipation of this crisis as we have a shortage of funds to address any upcoming emergencies. As a non-profit animal rescue, we receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of those who wish to be stewards of abandoned animals who cannot care for themselves or to help those pets who have families in need of emergency vet care. We are also unable to hold any fundraisers right now due to restrictions. If you would like to help, please visit: https://www.animalassistancegroup.org/donate
