Village Media is currently hiring a dedicated and motivated Directory & Classifieds Coordinator to join our growing team.
This position supports the sales team and ad operations across Village Media’s network of local news and information websites by creating and maintaining directory and related content for our business clients.
Responsibilities
Build and optimize various types of business listings
Create and manage business user accounts
Connect with clients on how they can leverage their business listing, and help support any inquiries or changes they may have
Set up site categories and channels as required
Post job ads, notices and special offers on behalf of our business clients
Work with graphic designers to create various design assets
Building auctions/donation drives
Perform other duties and projects as directed by senior management
Qualifications
Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with superior attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with computer programs
Customer focus and high level of professionalism
Capable of working independently as well as with a team
The successful candidate will work out of our head office in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Generally, the hours of work are from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
