Kaiser Porcelain Royal Silver Jubilee Silhouette Vase 1977 Limited Edition of only 500. This is your chance to own a rare and unique collectors item, Made in 1977 by Kaiser Porcelain Ltd and designed by the Judy Cousins, to Commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. This vase is numbered early 156 in a limited edition of only five hundred made worldwide, one of which was presented to the Queen. Determined to make something "different" to commemorate the Silver Jubilee Year Kaiser Porcelain Commissioned Windsor sculptress Judy Cousins to design the vase . The result is this unique porcelain vase which depicts the Queen and Prince Philip in profile, not in relief, but in inverse form. Viewed against a dark background, the profiles facing each other become even more apparent. The vase bears the Royal Coat of Arms on one side, and Prince Philip's personal coat of arms on the other. The silhouette of the Queen can be seen on the Righthand side When the Coat of Arms is facing the front with the Prince's Profile on the Left. When displayed in its box it shows the Queen and Prince Philip's profile in silhouette as you can see in the photos. The vase itself is unmarked has a gold band on the rim, the royal crest and lettering is also in gold on a crisp white porcelain base with its number and description on the bottom of the vase.
