Proposed Street Name Change

The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie proposes to change the name of a street within the City. The City is proposing to change the name of Ontario Avenue, between Pine Street and Upton Road, to Garrison Way. By-Law 2018-137 will appear on the Council Agenda on Monday, August 13, 2018. This By-Law will finalize the proposed name change.

Any person with an objection to the proposed name change must write a letter to the City Clerk for the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Letters may be dropped off in person at the Clerk's Department, Level 4, Civic Centre, or mailed to City Clerk, 99 Foster Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 5X6.

All objections received are forwarded to the Engineering Division who will present the objections at the City Council meeting. All objections must be received by the Clerk's Department by August 1, 2018.
