Limited public access to the Civic Centre

Public access to the Civic Centre is limited to essential business only and anyone who is ill, experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or has travelled out of country within the last 14 days will not be permitted to enter the building. 

Visitors will be screened in the front lobby, and members of the public are asked to comply with social distancing. External meetings not related to City operations previously scheduled to be held at the Civic Centre are cancelled indefinitely.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie has business continuity plans in place to ensure essential services continue to be delivered during this time. For the most current information, updates will be posted saultstemarie.ca/COVID19 and the City's social media channels.
