Good turnout for first of three Advance Vote days

The first day of advance voting for the 2018 City of Sault Ste. Marie Municipal Election saw 688 voters make their way to the Civic Centre to cast their ballot.

The first day of advance voting for the 2018 City of Sault Ste. Marie Municipal Election saw 688 voters make their way to the Civic Centre to cast their ballot.

The following is a summary of today's Advance Vote by ward:

Ward 1 - 177
Ward 2 - 191
Ward 3 - 136
Ward 4 - 105
Ward 5 - 79

Total: 688

In 2014, there were 660 voters that participated in day one Advance Vote.

Additional Advance Vote days will be held at the Civic Centre on:

Wednesday, October 10 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Voting Day is Monday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
