Woman charged with threatening to kill victim and their dog

On May 16, 2017, officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 49-year-old Melinda Marandola of Albert St. West in relation to mischief.

Just before 8 p.m. on May 16, the accused engaged in a verbal argument with a person known to her. During the argument, it is alleged that the accused broke a coffee table and threatened to kill the victim and the victim’s dog.

Police later attended and Ms. Marandola was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats and one count of mischief under $5,000. She will appear in court on June 26, 2017.
