A Sault woman is being accused of possession of property obtained by crime, and lying to police about her name.

Sault Police say they responded to a call for service at a multi-unit residence in the 100 block of Breton Road yesterday around 11:00 a.m.

When officers arrived, they say no one was around.

When officers located the accused, she provided them with a false name, police say.

A subsequent search of the area found the accused to be in possession of keys from the residence.

As a result, Rebecca Stevens is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and obstructing a peace officer.

She is scheduled to appear in court on July 5.
